Hunting
There are 3 levels of hunts:
Level One
is smaller or non-threatening prey.
Examples:
rabbit, squirrel, duck, and raccoon
Level Two is
medium sized or moderately dangerous prey.
Examples:
doe,
antelope, sheep, and mountain goat
Level Three
is large and or extremely dangerous prey.
Examples:
buck,
moose, bear, and boar
For
all levels:
*Only the members
of the pack may call a hunt, though assessments may
join, and guests
may be invited to participate by pack members only.
*The senior wolf
present is the only one that may start a hunt for level
[[ and [[[.
*Only pack members
and assessments may hunt
(visitors by
invitation only)
*Assessments must request to hunt from the senior packmember present.
*Pups must be
at least 6 months of age prior to hunting, and only with
permission.
Pups are restricted to Level One.
Level One:
*This level of
prey is designed for a wolf hunting alone
and for the assessments
and pups.
*Assessments and
pups must request permission prior to hunting
and an adult
wolf must be present incase of injury.
*The wolf's health must be at least 15 to hunt and 6 FP.
Level Two:
*This level of prey is designed for the adult wolf
*There must be
at least two if not three wolves hunting
before a Level
Two hunt is begun.
*The wolves participating
must have minimum
of 17 HP and
6 FP to hunt.
Level Three:
*This level of
prey is designed for pack hunting
*There must be
at least 5 wolves to hunt Level Three.
*Only adult wolves
may hunt Level Three and minimum of 20 HP and 8 FP.
*Visitors are
not allowed to hunt Level Three unless authorized by the
Alpha.
Hunting Order:
1. Alpha
2. Beta
3. Guardians
4. Pack (in order
of rank/time in pack)
5. Assessments,
if applies
6. Visitors,
if invited
Kill:
*The kill belongs
to the wolf making it.
*The animals
soul is sung for in thanks of giving its life to us.
*The animal is
brought to the clearing.
